Our Christmas Break Schedule is a little different for our other mission trips as it fits between Christmas and the New Year. Please take note of the schedule below to be prepared for your time in Mexico.
We offer the following suggested ministry schedule for optimum ministry impact and mission experience! However, this schedule can be modified to meet your particular needs if necessary.
We provide a unique schedule with multifaceted ministries and cultural proximity! We have worked hard to develop a ministry schedule that provides maximum impact for mission trips, is culturally sensitive, and gets you serving right alongside the nationals of Mexico!
Christmas Break Schedule of Activities
December 26-31, 2019
Note: Because Christmas Break mission trips are one day shorter than normal, they will have a total of four VBS’s and one Church/Community Outreach.
Tuesday, Dec. 26
2:00 - 4:00pm Arrive between 2:00-4:00pm (make plans to cross the border between 10:00am-12:00pm).
6:00pm Welcome & Mission Base Orientation Meeting
6:30pm Orientation Meeting Session 1 - Cultural Aspects - Given by Site Missionary
7:30pm Break
7:45pm Orientation Meeting Session 2 - Ministry Aspects - Given by Site Missionary
8:45pm Free Time
Wednesday, Dec. 27
7:00am Breakfast (come dressed and ready for the day)
7:30am Chore Time (According to Group Leader’s desire)
7:45am Daily Devotions (Led by your group as you desire)
8:15am Prep for departure to ministry site
8:30am Depart to ministry site
9:00am Work Projects (participation by about 1/2 of your group)
9:00am Door to door Evangelism, Visitation & Prayer Outreach (participation by 1/2 of your mission team.
12:00pm Lunch at your specially chosen church (Tasty Authentic Mexican Food Prepared by Mexicans)
1:00pm Free time
1:30pm VBS Prep
2:00pm VBS
5:00pm Dinner (best if eaten close to your ministry site as there’s not much time to return to the base)
6:00pm Church/Community Outreach
8:00pm Free Time
